The Light Dragoon has been here for over 300 years in the village of Etton and has seen lots of different people look after your needs and give you a friendly welcome. We think the team we have now is one of the best and we are all working really hard to maintain those standards that you have come to know and that hopefully bring you back time after time.

Richard E. - HEAD CHEF
Richard has been the heart and soul of The Light Dragoon for several years. He has picked out some of his favourite dishes to prepare for you.
We think his passion and presentation of his food is what makes great meal, look and taste even better. It helps out that we source as much of our main ingredients locally and cook each one to order.
His steak and ale pie is said by many to be one of the best in the county and is probably worth a visit just for that alone.
Nathan E. - GENERAL MANAGER
It's all about the experience. whether you come in for a quick bite to eat or something to drink or to a full on restaurant meal, I like to think we offer a relaxed and friendly enviroment. The local Inn helps to make up the heart of a village and i'm keen to invest my time in giving back to the community and getting as many people involved as possible. Etton has a real pride in it's village and I hope to bring back some of the great English traditions. Of course these are even better when there is a nice pint and tasty meal to finish off a hards day work.
Over twenty years in the trade provides me, I think, with the knowledge and hopefully the right attitude to make sure everything is as perfect as it can be. I love my cask ales and I'm more than happy to talk about beer all day long. I've been a CAMRA member for many years now and of course I'm an avid supporter of their campaign to promote cask ale.

Saff has been at The Light Dragoon for over four years, still young by anyones standards she has gained a wealth of experience in the trade. A lot of our repeat business is because of her attention to customer needs and she offers the friendly and professional customer service that you'd expect in a village Inn.
Richard L. - BAR MANAGER
Richard is just finding his feet here at The Light Dragoon but is well on his way to making a great bar man. We've got him doing a bit of everything so he can broaden his knowledge. His next step is to start mixing up some of our brad new cocktails.
Sometimes described as a bit odd and quirky he fits right in!
